My Story
The Original Knee and Ankle Pillow. Knee and Ankle Pillow LLC was founded in 2004 by Artur Kaba, a lifelong athlete with a passion for recovery and engineering. As a side sleeper, Artur struggled with knee and ankle pain every night—traditional pillows didn’t help and often made things worse.
Determined to find a real solution, he worked with doctors and chiropractors while testing dozens of prototypes over several years. The challenge? Creating a pillow that aligned the body, relieved pressure, and stayed comfortable all night.
In 2006, he filed his first patent. By 2013, after testing hundreds of materials, Artur developed a design that stayed cool in summer, warm in winter, and light and breathable year-round.
The final breakthrough came in 2018—a proprietary foam formula and fully patented ergonomic shape that supports healthy spinal alignment and relaxes the entire lower body.
This pillow has helped thousands of sleepers, including pregnant women, athletes, and those recovering from injury. For Artur, the comfort it gave his wife during pregnancy—and their growing family—made it all worth it.
